The waterflea.org Team
This site is a community resource to aid research and education on the global biodiversity of water fleas. The database construction is a collaboration between William H. Piel Alexey A. Kotov and Derek J. Taylor (left to right above), and is funded by an NSF. NSF trainees Seiji Ishida, Markéta Faustová, Katie Costanzo and Laura Hovind helped to design the home page, collect specimens, and input sections of the database. We hope this resource will enhance training and research for water flea biologists around the world — all are welcome to use it and actively contribute to it. We are open to suggestions for improving waterflea.org from the community.
